An in-house CSR team is in daily contact with these factories and supervises them. The factories have all been audited or certified. We are happy to tell you in which factory each collection is made.

Our partner factory
The factory with which we work most closely is located in Kolkata. The factory originated from a collaboration with an Indian leather worker and the founder of Micmacbags. This factory has approximately 400 employees, divided over the following departments: dyeing, colouring, stitching/finishing/cutting/glueing, sample making, pacing, storage and office. We fly to the factory three times a year and our colleagues from India also regularly come to the Netherlands. When we are in India, we notice that the atmosphere is good, the employees feel happy at work, and the factory manager is very accessible to the employees. Things that are not taken for granted in India.
